One fateful night, witnessing his son return home intoxicated, Reynald decided there had to be a better way for people to enjoy the experience of drinking without the negative consequences.
Driven by a passion for experimenting with flavors and scents, and drawing upon his expertise in the fragrance industry, Reynald invested three years of relentless research. His dedication paid off when he discovered a molecule that could mimic the alcohol profile without containing any actual spirit. With this breakthrough, the vision for ARKAY began to take shape.
